Career Opportunities at Solheim Senior Community
Full-Time, M-F, 3p-11p, Relief – Sat/Sun, 3p - 11p. Current CA RN license. Min. 2 years exp; preferably in a Geriatric setting. Knowledge of Title 22 & OBRA regulations preferred. Prefer supervisory/team-leading exp. Must demonstrate customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.
Full-Time 11p-7a and Relief status for both Skilled Nursing and Memory Care all shifts. Requires current CA LVN license.
Full Time and Relief; 7am – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 10:30pm, 10:30pm - 7am. Skilled Nursing experience and/or Alzheimer's/dementia experience preferred. New grads welcome.
Relief - currently have temporary full-time available. This position performs general facility maintenance, housekeeping and laundry functions in all areas of the facility. Must following proper infection control and safety procedures. Must be available for weekends and Holidays. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. MUST be able to read, write, speak, understand English. Min. 1 year exp. in a skilled nursing facility/hospital setting, hotel, resort or residential retirement environment.
Driver - Class "B" License REQUIRED
Full-Time Driver w/Class B CA drivers license working a regular schedule of Mon-Fri . This person will drive our seniors to fun activity outings, dr. appts. and other outings. Requires an individual who desires to work with seniors and meets the following requirements: High school graduate or equivalent, MUST HAVE a valid California Class "B" drivers license w/passenger endorsement, must have current (3 months) DMV driving record print out, with no moving violations within the last 2 years before hiring.
Relief; up to 19 hrs/week. Assists with providing therapeutic activities that enable residents in the different levels of care to participate in programs appropriate to their cognitive level based on past & current leisure preferences. HS Graduate required. Knowledge of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other diseases that afflict an older population preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Must have a strong desire to work with seniors.
