Living at Solheim means you enjoy a lively neighborhood within the campus and surrounding you in Eagle Rock.
Solheim’s definition of community integrates Residential and Assisted Living, giving you the opportunity to add on any additional services needed as your health changes, without moving apartments.
Surrounding a large central courtyard and garden, Halvorson Memory Care at Solheim provides specialty care in a secure and serene ambiance.
Skilled Nursing at Solheim offers important clinical services for recovery, rehabilitation, and long term care.
"I visited 23 facilities looking for a place for my mother and my wife with independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing before deciding on Solheim. I have great peace of mind knowing that my mother and wife are going to be taken care of, no matter what. But what surprised me was that there’s a place for me too! I have fallen in love with Solheim because here, we’re not just residents; we’re family."

WEEKLY Update, November 20, 2020
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
This past Monday, we distributed our Resident Satisfaction Survey to our residents (and also mailed copies to their Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, where appropriate). These surveys are an important tool to help us get a sense of how we are doing in the eyes of our residents, and also help us identify areas in which we can strive to improve next year. We look forward to sharing the results with you in the next month or two!
Even with a short holiday week coming up, our contractors are working hard as we follow through on our promise to make active investments here on campus that will allow Solheim to continue to meet the physical, mental, and social needs of older adults in an atmosphere of peace, dignity, and security well into the future! But I can now reveal that this isn’t the only form of construction that will soon be going on here at Solheim…
This holiday season, we want to offer our residents the opportunity to build their own “Solheim Christmas Village”. Interested residents will be provided with a kit to build and assemble a gingerbread house, and the finished products will be displayed throughout the Solheim campus. Our Activities Department will be acting as the “general contractor,” obtaining all the necessary building materials (gingerbread, candy canes, etc.) and making sure that this all stays on schedule! If the spirit of the season moves you, you can help us bring cheer, joy, and a sparkle of fun to our residents by sponsoring one of these gingerbread houses for a cost of $30/house. We anticipate building 35 houses in time for Christmas! To make a donation to our Activities Program, please visit our website or mail us your check directly (write “Activities” in the memo section).
Many of you have already been very generous with your donations towards Solheim and our Employee Holiday Fund. We will continue to accept donations towards this fund through December 10th. As we’ve mentioned before, Solheim has a strict policy prohibiting any Solheim staff member from accepting any form of gratuity from any resident—but, once a year, we do give residents the opportunity to show their appreciation for our wonderful staff by making a monetary gift to this general Employee Holiday Fund (if they so choose). Of course, your kind words also always mean a great deal! You may visit our website to make a donation towards our Employee Holiday Fund, or CLICK HERE.
If you are planning to come to campus, please remember that you will be required to maintain appropriate social distance measures and wear an appropriate facial mask at all times—and (as always) please don’t come at all if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness! To schedule a call through our online scheduling program, you can visit https://calendly.com/kathyr-3, and don’t hesitate to email Kathy Rust directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have difficulty finding a time slot for a call or would like to schedule an in-person campus visit.
We also continue to offer virtual tours and accept new applications for residency in all areas of our campus. If you would like more information, please contact our Director of Sales, Lucy Laloyan, at 323 257 7518 X212 or LucyL@solheimsenior.org.
Based on our latest testing, we are currently free of COVID-19 across our campus. We will continue to monitor this situation via testing as required, and as always we also continue to offer regular COVID-19 testing to all residents and staff in compliance with all applicable regulations.
You can always visit our website for more information at www.solheimsenior.org, but if you have any specific questions, please direct them to Tina Antypas at 323 257-7518 X225 or email@example.com.
