Living at Solheim means you enjoy a lively neighborhood within the campus and surrounding you in Eagle Rock.
Solheim’s definition of community integrates Residential and Assisted Living, giving you the opportunity to add on any additional services needed as your health changes, without moving apartments.
Surrounding a large central courtyard and garden, Halvorson Memory Care at Solheim provides specialty care in a secure and serene ambiance.
Skilled Nursing at Solheim offers important clinical services for recovery, rehabilitation, and long term care.
"I visited 23 facilities looking for a place for my mother and my wife with independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing before deciding on Solheim. I have great peace of mind knowing that my mother and wife are going to be taken care of, no matter what. But what surprised me was that there’s a place for me too! I have fallen in love with Solheim because here, we’re not just residents; we’re family."

October 16, 2020 WEEKLY Update
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
We are less than 3 weeks to election time, and the endless stream of calls, mailers and ads continue. We are committed to making sure that our residents have every opportunity to have their voices heard!
Many Solheim residents have already received an absentee ballot, and some have already mailed them back in. Voting during a pandemic presents new and unique challenges for all of us—and just like all citizens who live in the greater L.A. area, our residents can choose (if they wish to vote) whether to vote in person, vote by mail, or vote by “L.A. County Drop Box.” It is, of course, every resident’s legal right to choose which of these options work best for them, and also to vote however their own conscience dictates. Having said that, if you feel that your family member may need any support in either choosing an appropriate method of voting or in understanding any portion of their ballot, please don’t hesitate to schedule a time to meet with them privately in the next few days by contacting Kathy Rust at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our activities department has facilitated many calls for families. As we continue to ease restrictions in accordance with all applicable guidelines, I encourage all of you to reach out and connect with your loved ones—we will always do whatever we can to help facilitate those efforts! Please remember as you are on campus visiting, please wear your mask at all times! To schedule a call through our online scheduling program visit here, https://calendly.com/kathyr-3. Please email Kathy Rust directly at email@example.com if you have difficulty finding a time slot, or would like to schedule an in person visit, socially distanced and wearing masks of course!
We also continue to offer virtual tours and accept new applications for residency in all areas of our campus and are pleased to be welcoming aboard a new resident next week to our community. If you would like more information, please contact our Director of Sales, Lucy Laloyan, at 323 257 7518 X212 or LucyL@solheimsenior.org.
Based on our latest testing, we are currently free of COVID-19 across our campus. We will continue to monitor this situation via testing as required, and as always we also continue to offer regular COVID-19 testing to all residents and staff in compliance with all applicable regulations.
You can always visit our website for more information at www.solheimsenior.org, but if you have any specific questions, please direct them to Tina Antypas at 323 257-7518 X225 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
