Each year Solheim Lutheran Home (dba Solheim Senior Community) holds an Annual Meeting of the Corporation. This is a particularly special year, as Solheim celebrates our Centennial Year!  We are proud to have been serving seniors for 100 years and look forward to what God has in store for us as we enter our 2nd century of service.

All Southwest California Synod churches are stakeholders, playing a vital role in electing Solheim’s Board of Directors, as well as budgetary and by-law decisions. This team of dedicated volunteers guides and shapes Solheim’s ministry and future.  As we strive to increase our visibility in our Lutheran communities, it is more important than ever that we develop closer relationships with our churches and their members.

This year the Annual Meeting of the Corporation is on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually, via ZOOM.

Each congregation is requested to select two members, or pastors, as voting delegates to the annual meeting.  Please select two from your congregation and save the date, Sunday, June 11th, at 4:00 p.m.

Since our founding 100 years ago, Solheim remains a single-site retirement community, making our residents’ health and well-being our only concern.  We could not accomplish our mission of providing abundant living for older adults without you. Synod congregations help in so many ways!  You send leaders to serve on the board, financial support to provide charitable care for residents who have outlived their assets, and you uplift our ministry in prayer.  Past, present and future, your support is essential to our success and it is greatly appreciated.
