Director of Resident Services and Wellness
Paloma joined Solheim in 1998 as a contracted Physical Therapy assistant. In 2007 she became a full-time employee when Solheim's Wellness Center was opened. Paloma has a Bachelor's degree in Human Development with a concentration in Gerontology. As Wellness Director, Paloma has built a wellness program with supervised exercise classes, a walking club, and a Pet Therapy program.
Beginning in 2013, Paloma's responsibilities were expanded to include holding the Administrator's certificate for the Residential Licensed programs at Solheim.
Paloma has versatile talents which benefit Solheim in such diverse areas as photography, decoration of the building for holidays, and being the informal leader of Solheim's very active Pet Therapy program!
Paloma is involved in the regional leadership of Leading Age California. She is a committed volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association, and the Alzheimer's Association.
